There are relevant stories of the Instituto Di Tella, back then in the '60s when Latin American composers for the first time, looked at each other. In the words of my teacher, Mariano Etkin, who was part of that group, the Instituto Di Tella created a relevant bond between them, with essential influences in the style and music of each country, still significant today.
Nowadays, I am super proud to be part of this "second visibility round", involving Latin American women composers looking at each other. Thanks, #FMMN.
